San Jacinto High Rise

The San Jacinto High Rise features coffered wood ceilings, a custom fabricated stone spiral staircase in the library, steel doors and windows and a two-story wine cellar that makes up the penthouse core. The interiors also include a custom limestone bathtub, handcrafted cabinetry, wood doors, Hadrian limestone flooring and steel shower enclosures. The walls and ceilings are Venetian plaster.

The Escobedo Group joined the project while the concrete shell of the building was still under construction. To deliver the sophisticated, timeless and transportive details found in the San Jacinto High Rise, we had to coordinate closely with the commercial contractor and owner from the start. Everything which could not fit in the elevator—including the Hadrian limestone floor—was sent up by a crane. The Escobedo Group worked around pallets, tight timelines and other materials to install the many high-end details, like the limestone bathtub and water features seen throughout the space.
