Llano Estate

The Llano Estate ranch house is a rich natural mix of native Texas sandstone veneer with limestone accents, which effortlessly elevates the thoughtful landscape. Constructed with structural steel and light-gauge metal framing and insulated to the outside creating a high-performance wall system, keeping it cool and dry in the summer months, and warm and welcoming in the winter.

Several rooms of the ranch house, including an impressive 25’ x 35’ loggia, have true self-supporting Boveda ceilings and stonewalls. The interior floors, and several of the walls, are also limestone and installed using a zero-joint technique. A nod to the ancients, the technique gives the Llano Estate the feel of a grand hacienda.

The more private rooms—including the bedrooms, kitchen, and billiard room—have Venetian plaster walls and dark timber framing along the ceilings.
